Student Job Shadowing and Informational Interview

Career Services works with students interested in career exploration experiences by matching students with an industry professional for a job shadow or an informational interview. Career Services fields student requests to determine the student’s interests and goals and then facilitates a connection between the student and a participating member. These hands-on experiences are extremely valuable to our students because it provides an opportunity to gain real-world exposure to industries they may have an interest in while making professional connections that could prove beneficial to them as they embark upon their job search. Career exploration experiences support all pillars of a Guided Pathways framework by helping students clarify, enter, and stay on the path while also ensuring learning through hands-on experience.
